Life after Addiction

Hello lovelies. This post is for everyone. We’re going to talk alittle about after you’ve been delivered or recovered from opioids, or whatever your addiction was… BUT, I prefer the word delivered. But… here’s the issue, how do you go back to everyday life again? You may not have been so happy, right? Okay well, how do you now deal with this sober reality, or feeling, when before it was so easy to “swallow” the problem. Dealing with this particular situation is serious business, and a trigger to a person who is now clean is serious business. They are kind of seeing life through new lenses. Here’s one thing back in 2004, I specifically remember: I didn’t have to take a bunch of things with me everywhere I went. I also didn’t have to worry about anything, running out of anything, such a load off my mind. You definitely need to change your activities (I started walking, then eventually running) the endorphins in my brain began to work again on their own. Definitely make sure you Change how you react to situations. Sometimes you can feel completely different when sober. So go easy on yourself, don’t pressure yourself to do things to fast, but do not stay in a dark room laying around. The enemy loves to pick us off one by one, to whisper in your ear. Be strong, drink A LOT OF WATER WITH LEMON AND CUCUMBER… Have someone praying for you, don’t go through things alone. I had to learn and still do… that the comfort of me being alone and working or writing or getting distracted, ends up agitating me and being honest depressed me. When you serve God, you may not have many friends. Especially, if your the type who has been through some stuff. Real deal stuff, and you feel they will judge you and so you have nothing in common. Give people a chance. If they belittle or judge, or gossip then break away. God will bring the right people into your life. My revised book is dropping soon, stay tuned so you may know. Facebook God Bless you and we love you! Xo Jonie
